Music Is Everything: How many people say that music is everything to them? How many actually mean it? How
many people live it and love it? Sixteen years of deejaying, nine years as a record buyer for numerous stores and
a lifetime of collecting dance music has led me to open Music Is Everything.
Music Is Everything is nestled in the historic district of Freehold, New Jersey. Whether you've been
collecting records for 2 months or 20 years, part of the shop's mission is to make you feel comfortable
while you're choosing and previewing your selections.
We don't believe in high pressure sales tactics - there's nothing worse than
going into a shop and having a salesperson pull out a stack of vinyl
claiming that those are the "hot, must have" records that "every" DJ is playing.
If you need help, we will happily guide you in the direction YOU are
pursuing.
We strongly believe that quality always beats quantity: while other shops order anything and everything to fill their shelves,
we pride ourselves with having the most upfront, solid selections from each genre every week.
Our back catalogue is carefully sorted, labeled and features hard to find or rare titles
that most other shops don't bother stocking.
We also carry a full selection of CDs, slipmats, record bags/boxes,
clothing, and cartridges.
Our website is designed to bring our friendly shop atmosphere and service to the web. The site features
an accurate inventory that gets updated numerous times throughout the day - so you'll never
be let down. If an item is marked "In Stock," it means we have it. No more false promises like
those other shops.
Music Is Everything: It's for those of us who sit alone at home on a Friday night practicing that
perfect mix, or who spend their last ten dollars on that must-have new release instead of
putting gas in the car. It's for those of us who have that bass line stuck in our heads for days
or who work a dead-end job just to be able to buy records. It's for those of us who are on that
endless mission to collect every Ferry Corsten, Rufige Kru, or Jeff Mills 12" ever pressed.
That's what Music Is Everything is about. It's for those of us who live it and love it.
